Our 2021 Summer Program Events

The Unadilla Public Library would like to thank those of you who came to our summer events. We had a good turn out for these events. We had a concert by Nan Hoffman; the Dirtmeister; and the Summer Reading Program. Go to our Facebook page for more summer program events pictures.

Unadilla Public Library StoryWalk

We are excited that our StoryWalk is back out for our community to enjoy. It is now located on Main Street. The story starts at the corner of Adams Street and ends at the Unadilla Public Library. Please stop in our library and sign our StoryWalk notebook. A big thank you to the Village crew that helped to put them out.

Summer Reading Program

The Unadilla Public Library will start our summer reading program Thursday, July 15th 10 AM – 11:30 AM. The summer reading program is open to all ages, but is geared from birth to 7 years. A craft will take place after story time.

The summer reading proram will continue every Thursday and will end September 2nd.

July Summer Program Events:

Thursday, July 15th 1:00 PM at the Unadilla Public Library. Nan Hoffman will perform Animal Songbag! A concert for the whole family to celebrate the Summer Reading Program. “Tails and Tales!”

Thursday, July 22nd 1:00 PM at the Unadilla Public Library The Dirtmeister will present “Dragons and the Dino Detectives” This program digs deep into the true stories of the men and woman behind the discovery of the first dinosaur fossils. Using actual fossils of dinosaurs and other extinct creatures.

Flag Day Parade

We participated in the Unadilla Flag Day Parade on June 14th with our new banner celebrating our 100th year anniversary. Thank you to the four girls who carried our banner!

The Library will be planning an Open House for later this summer to celebrate our 100th year. Check our website in the coming weeks for further details.

Pen Pal Program

Otsego County Office for the Aging is seeking adults and students in the community who would be interested in participating in a Pen Pal Program with older adults.
